  • Covid-19

Wed 13 Oct 2021 Miss Musa

We have 5 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in school. There is no requirement for your child to isolate unless they develop symptoms. However, if you have a child in 4M, 5R, 6M or 6R you may wish to book them a PCR as they have been in close contact within their class bubble.

We have started to see an increase in case numbers in the local area so please remain vigilant for symptoms of Covid-19 and do not send your child into school if they are unwell.

If in doubt, please contact the School Office and will advice you.

As always, thank you for your ongoing support

  • Harvest 2021

Mon 04 Oct 2021 Miss Musa

    Harvest

    Dear Parents/ Carers,

To celebrate Harvest this year, the year 6 children will be holding a harvest assembly in school. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, parents will not be able to attend. However, Miss Harrison will be recording this and sending out to parents.

During the assembly, we will be talking about Foodbanks and the importance of contributing if we are able to. We will also talk about not being afraid to ask for help if we need it, particularly during these challenging times.

This year, it would be great if you could get involved by bringing in an item to donate.

Items like this would be fantastic:

    · PACKS OF TOILET PAPER

    · MILK (UHT)

    · TINNED TOMATOES

    · TINNED TUNA

    · TINNED MEAT MEALS

    · TINNED HAM & CORNED BEEF

    · TINNED VEGETABLES

    · TINNED FRUIT

Please bring donations into school between Tuesday 5th October – Friday 8th October. All donations will be sent to the local food banks to help those in need.

Many thanks for your continued support.

    With kind regards,

    The RAMJS team

  • A Farewell and Thank You to Mrs Hutchins

Fri 01 Oct 2021 Mrs Nickson

    Dear Parents and Carers,

I have just received notification from Mrs Hutchins (our DHT on secondment) that she has been successfully appointed as the Headteacher at Cockerham Church of England Primary School.

I am delighted for Mrs Hutchins who has worked tirelessly in recent years, both at RAMJS at several other schools in the area, having a huge impact on the lives of many children.

Whilst Mrs Hutchins will be greatly missed, we know that she must spread her wings and it is time for her to help the children of Cockerham achieve their dreams.

The Governors, staff, children and their families wish you the best of luck and the happiest of futures in your new adventure.
