King Charles III Coronation
To celebrate this historic event we invited children to come into school wearing red, white and blue. We had a Royal Street Party for lunch and even had 'King Charles' and 'Queen Camilla' visit!
In assembly we reenacted the Coronation with the crown, orb and septre.
Children in Year 3 had a virtual tour of Buckingham Palace using the VR headsets and the Digital Leaders designed coins as mementos of the occasion to print on the 3D printer .
Some children wrote to King Charles telling him what we have been up to - we hope to hear back from the Palace!
All children and staff were also given a commemorative badge as a memento of the event!
