If you are currently a TA2B looking for a truly exciting role where you will make a huge difference to the life chances of pupils in an area of high deprivation then a career at RAMJS is the Job for you.  

  

Not only will you be offered continued professional development, but you will also form part of a year group team, supporting across 2 classes to deliver high quality learning, interventions and life experiences for children in the Ribbleton area.

We require dedicated TA’s with previous experience of supporting children. In addition, you should show in your application that you have: 
  

  • Experience in supporting Maths and English lessons under the direction of the class teacher 
  • Experience of planning and delivering small group interventions 
  • Experience of and a desire to, work in an area of high deprivation with it’s own unique characteristics and challenges 
  • A desire to work in a culturally diverse setting, 
  • A friendly and genuine child-centred approach, 
  • A calm, patient and encouraging manner, with an ability to make learning engaging, 
  • A restorative approach to behaviour management with firm behavioural expectations built on relational practices, 
  • An ability to be self-motivated and manage time effectively to maximise children’s learning time.
