Welcome to RAMJS. We hope you find this page useful

Lovely Lancashire

During this half term we are going to be concentrating on programming. We will use scratch and Lego Wedo to learn about selection, variables, functions and repetition in code. We will be programming our own games based on the Pendle Witches using video sensing. Here’s an example of what our game may look like.

We used scratch to create our own Halloween games, which involved creating clones!

Lego Wedo

After learning about inputs and outputs we began making Lego models using sensors such as a distance sensor and a tilt sensor. We also had motors. We were able to connect these via Bluetooth to our laptops and control them through scratch! It was great seeing the children is creativity and inventiveness

Copyright

As part of our internet safety lesson we looked at copyright, intellectual property and fair use. Using what we learnt we used images free of copyright to create our own remembrance videos.
