The role entails:

  • Supporting Maths and English lessons under the direction of the class teacher 
  • Planning and delivering small group interventions 

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A desire to, work in an area of high deprivation with it’s own unique characteristics and challenges 
  • A desire to work in a culturally diverse setting, 
  • A friendly and genuine child-centred approach, 
  • A calm, patient and encouraging manner, with an ability to make learning engaging, 
  • A restorative approach to behaviour management with firm behavioural expectations built on relational practices, 
  • An ability to be self-motivated and manage time effectively to maximise children’s learning time.
