Play Leader Champions 

We have recently developed our “PLAY LEADER CHAMPIONS” programme for Yr5 children to enable them to provide fun activities at lunchtimes/break times. This enables all children to be active during lunch times and provides Yr5 with valuable skills and experience such as leadership, communication and responsibility. It also encourages the importance of keeping active and being healthy as well as promoting positive behaviour.

The Play Leader Champions role is to provide and deliver a wide range of activities for children to participate during lunchtimes and break times which will add structure to the lunch times/break times and allow children to engage in fun activities and keep active and healthy. They work closely with the lunch time staff to help promote positive behaviour and facilitate fun activities.

At present due to Covid restrictions each class has their own resources and staggered lunch times.
