Easter Holiday Period- COVID-19 Track and Trace

    Dear Parents/ Carers,

If your child has been in school this week (22nd-26th March 2021) and shows symptoms of Covid-19 within 48 hours of the end of the school term, or tests positive for Covid-19 having shown symptoms within 48 hours of the end of school half term, you MUST report this to school immediately by emailing head@ramjs.lancs.sch.uk between 9am and 10am only.

Mrs Nickson will be on hand to notify any other pupils in your child's class bubble and their families so they can self-isolate for ten days. It is vital you tell school about any positive tests so we can help prevent the spread of coronavirus in our community.

If the date of the positive test is Saturday 27th March or Sunday 28th March, their class bubble will be informed and told to self-isolate for 10 days from their last contact with the positive case. Parents and Carers should follow contact-tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.

If the date of the positive test result is after Sunday 28th March, the class bubble will not be informed as the 48 contagious period will not be applicable.

If your child becomes unwell and tests positive in the second week of the Easter holidays, PLEASE DO NOT SEND THEM TO SCHOOL ON Monday 12th April 2021 Contact office@ramjs.lancs.sch.uk and you will be advised of a return date.

Thank you in anticipation of your co-operation,

    Yours sincerely,

    Mrs F. Nickson

    Headteacher
