Ruthless Romans

As part of their work with multimedia, the children in Year 4 will create their very own e-books using book creator. Their books will  include word art, talking avatars, volcano video factfiles, tours using google earth, green screen eruptions and hyperlinks!

During Autumn 2 the children are learning about computer programming. They will use microbits to code their own night lights, step counters, emotion badges, thermometers and rock, paper, scissors game. They will also code a program to create a magic 8 ball. 

 

The makecode website allows them to use block coding to create their own programs, which they will  flash to the microbits
