In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Ribbleton Avenue Methodist Junior School has set equality objectives that are specific, measurable and outcome‑focused.
These objectives are:
To promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development through appropriate curricular opportunities, with particular emphasis on equality and diversity.
To reduce the difference in behavioural suspensions between Pupil Premium and Non‑Pupil Premium pupils.
To reduce the difference between boys and girls in Reading, Writing and Maths by the end of Key Stage 2.
To reduce the difference between Pupil Premium and Non‑Pupil Premium pupils in Reading, Writing and Maths by the end of Key Stage 2.
Progress against these objectives is monitored by school leaders and governors and informs ongoing school improvement work.
