Britain at War
The Year 6 children will be been working on their presentation skills learning to edit backgrounds, font, transitions and animations in Keynote. They will also add hyperlinks to their presentation. Their presentations will be based on their work about World War 1
In autumn 2 the children looked at programming their own games to be controlled my a makey makey. Their games involved creating code in scratch to make a character move up, down, left and right to catch an object which was randomly moving around the screen. They planned out their games, thinking of their own themes, finding their own character sprites and their own backgrounds. Their games involved selection, if the character touched the object score a point and variables such as score and a timer. Some of their finished games can be seen here.
