Coronavirus Update

Dear Parents/Carers,
Many of you will be aware that all schools will be closing from next week until further notice. The Government has asked that a school’s role now changes from Education to supporting Child Care through the Coronavirus period.
School will only remain open for the children of Key Workers from Monday 23rd March:
Opening times will be 8.00am to 4.15pm

This information will be required by midnight on Sunday 22nd March at the latest
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF THAT YOU WORK IN ONE OF THE LISTED PROFESSIONS. ACCEPTABLE PROOF OF PROFESSION COULD BE:
Only 1 parent needs to be a Key Worker however there is an expectation that where other childcare provision can be made, it should be, to reduce the number of children remaining in school.

SCHOOL MEAL ARRANGEMENTS
Meals will be given to children who are in school.
The Local Authority and Government are currently planning how families of Pupil Premium Childre will be supported in respect of a meal being provided. This may take the form of food vouchers or a food bank collection system. You will be informed when school receives further directives from the Local Authority.
