Ocean Explorers

Autumn 1 - Multimedia

Year 5 were shocked to learn of how much plastic, a long lasting durable material, was being produced and dumped in our oceans - a bin lorry full a minute! Over a million plastic bottles, used just once, are sold every minute of every day around the world.

The children were moved to action. We are looking to reduce our plastic use in school and recycle the plastic we do have to use.

As such they have started a campaign to raise awareness in school and more globally. They will be creating posters and movies using adobe express and iMovie. Come back soon to see more of our work.

Here are a couple of our first videos to introduce the issue. Your child's work can be seen via their seesaw account.
