A day at Ribbleton Avenue Methodist Junior School

Breakfast club is held each morning from 8:00am - 8:30am in the school hall. This is open to all children and is free of charge.  

Our actual academic school day starts at 8:50am; however, doors open slightly earlier at 8:45am to allow the children into class ready to start learning promptly at 8:50am.

Worship is held every day in the hall and follows a variety of themes that can be seen by accessing the RE section of this website.

The children have split playtimes that take place between 10:30am and 11:05am.

Yr3/4 - 10:30am - 10:45am

Yr5/6 - 10:50am - 11:05am

Lunch is between 11:45am and 1:15pm. All the children eat their lunch in the school hall. 

Yr3/4 - 11:45am-12:35pm

Yr5/6 - 12:25pm-1:15pm

The school day ends at 3:10pm and the children are collected from the school yard unless they are attending one of our many after-school clubs.

Children are in school a total of 31.25 hours per week excluding breakfast and after-school clubs.
