Please ensure that children are suitably dressed for Outdoor Education.  They need to be in clothes and footwear that is suitable for the environment.

This is not a Non Uniform Day (Party Clothes/Best Clothes) so children should come in clothes that they can get muddy, with suitable outer wear including a coat and Wellies or old trainers that can get dirty whilst outside.

Dear parents/guardians,

Your child’s class (6R) will be taking part in our outdoor education programme in the school grounds.

Your child will be able to come to school on the above days in their own clothes, however, these clothes will need to be suitable for outdoor activities for example:

Long trousers/leggings or jogging pants (NO JEANS)

Long sleeved top

Fleece/jumper

Suitable footwear (wellies, walking boots, old trainers)

Coat (waterproof if owned)

Please be aware that your child will be taking part in outdoor education over the whole school year and in ALL weathers, so suitable clothing will be required to suit the seasons. If your child is NOT suitably dressed, then unfortunately they will be unable to take part in the session. If you have any queries or questions regarding the activities please contact the main office, your child’s teacher, Mr Moran or Mrs Langfield, who will be happy to help.
