Home Learning

* ALL HOME LEARNING WILL BE UPLOADED TO SEESAW UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE*

Everyone is expected to complete home learning weekly, this will include learning spellings, multiplication tables, reading each day and completing one other home learning activity, which you will be able to choose from the grid given.

Please take care with the presentation of your home learning- I expect each piece of home learning to be completed neatly and of a high standard so that we can display some of them in our classroom to show all your excellent learning and efforts.

There are prizes to be won for the most homework tasks completed! Good luck!

* If you need any of your logins (Seesaw, Mymaths, TTrockstars etc.) please let me know ASAP*

Accurate spelling is a very important part of our learning.

Please find attached some of the spellings that we will be working on through this school year. There are also ideas and strategies for learning and remembering.

If you visit the spellings page on our class website, the children's spelling list will be posted there weekly.

Spellings will be set on a Monday and tested the following Monday.

Reading is an important part of our learning in 5M.

Reading- You must ensure that reading is taking place every day for at least 10 minutes. It is important that children read aloud often, regardless of their ability and are verbally asked questions about their thoughts on the story and characters to develop their understanding of what they have read rather than just reading.

Children should not sign their reading records they need to be signed by adults everyday.
